My journey with lavender began many years ago when I was just a child. As
many others I'm sure can relate, my grandmother loved lavender. I recall
she always had those beaded sachets hanging in her bathroom. I wonder
what ever happened to those, seems like they were probably popular back
in the early 70's. Anyway, it started with my grandmother, Helen. So
naturally, throughout my life
when the scent of Lavender wafted anywhere near me , it took me to a
place of love and happiness. Like snuggling in a warm blanket just out
of the dryer.
A couple of years ago, while vacation with my
husband and friends, we stumbled upon a small lavender farm. And again,
I was mesmerized
by it. The sight, the smell, and then the idea came to me; I'm going to
grow a Lavender field. I want to look out my front window and see rows
of lavender, and to share it with everyone else who loves lavender. The
dream was born and its been growing ever since.
